Let's say, I'm dead and it's my burial day, what will I exactly "tell" my loved ones? Here it is:
To Lolo and Lola: I'm your favorite apo- no doubt. Thank you for the unconditional love you’ve given me. I thank you for all the wonderful things that you did when I stayed with you for almost six years. I always remember how you carried me every time we go somewhere. I thank you for our trip to Laguna and Batangas when I was only five years old. Those were my first trips. Thanks too for the bringing me to movie houses back in the ‘90s. Maraming salamat po sa ginawa niyong “swing” sa likod ng bahay at sa pagtatangol sa akin kung pinapagalitan ako ni Papa o kaya ni Mama. Those are precious memories that I will always be thankful of. One of my greatest fears in this world is to see you dead. I know it's going to be very painful for me. I love you both.
To Mama and Papa: Thank you sa pagpapaaral sa akin and for all the sacrifices. Mama, thank you for the love you've shown me. I will always be a "mama's boy." Haha! Papa, I’ve hated you but I’ve learned to forgive you. Yun nga lang, hindi tayo close. Sayang. Tama si Mama nung sinabi niya sayo na lalayo loob naming magkakapatid sayo dahil super-strict ka. Anyway, I still thank you because you made me tough. I don't cry easily. I love you both!
To my two sisters: Ako ang bida! Haha! Of course, ako ang bida. Haha! Your Kuya loves you both. Pasensya na kung ako lagi ang bida. I’m wishing you all the best in your life and career!
To University of the Philippines: Maraming salamat sa mga aral na aking natutuhan – ang pagpapakumbaba sa lahat ng pagkakataon maliban na lamang kung ikaw ay inaapi, ang pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan o inaapi at ang pagmamahal sa bayan. Tatak UP forever!
To Wynn and Amos: Thank you for being with me when I badly needed someone to be with me. Maraming salamat sa lahat: sa treats (haha), sa movies and travel escapades. I won’t forget you. Sino nga ba naman ang makakalimot? Sino nga ba ang hindi makakalimot nung nagChowking tayo mga bandang alas-sais ng hapon at nag-order si Wynn ng halu-halo dito sa Baguio at ginaya siya ng bata. Edi, wow! Biglang naghoodie jacket ang bata dahil sa lamig. Andame nating tawa - more than twenty. Haha!
