After watching Jupiter Ascending last Saturday, we decided to visit Elements at New Town Plaza Hotel as planned. We tried their Merienda Buffet. New Town Plaza Hotel is one of the newest hotels in Baguio City which offers "a twist of modern dining."
The Search for Elements
From SM City Baguio, it took us approximately ten minutes to reach New Town Plaza Hotel. We were lucky enough because the place isn't difficult to find and we're even luckier because an elevator is ready to take us to the roof top of where Elements is located. A lady at the "entrance" ( but I assumed it's the exit) gladly welcomed us and she told us to "hang the receipt on our table" as proof of purchase. We also got "stamped" which means that we're "admitted." We searched for a perfect spot inside Elements and, fortunately, it didn't take us "long." We found a vacant table where the "hearts" were hanged in preparation for the Valentine's day. For me, it was a perfect spot because (1) I can freely take photos from where I seated and (2) if we're seated "there," it will not be too obvious if we keep on going back with our plates full of "meriendas" (Lol...I mean...no one can resist Element's irresistible and mouth-watering merienda. It will definitely keep you "going back.")
The Place
Elements will definitely offer you a very relaxing environment and comfort. It's a home away from home. No wonder why it's visited by many, especially by those who want to experience a"twist of modern dining."
The Food
I liked almost everything at Elements except for the Dinuguan because I have stopped eating pork. O've tried alsmost everything that was served on the the day we visited Elements but I spent of my time eating Pancit Bihon because it was definitely "yummylicious," and I (I just recalled) haven't eaten Pancit Bihon for the longest time. Lol! I've also tried their Lelot Balatong and all sorts of desserts which I couldn't clearly recall now. After our "merienda official" inside Elements, we went out and had "coffee break" beside the pool area.
The Customer Service
Elements' staff are very accommodating and nice. They will not ignore you if you have a special request. I would like to use my blog's space to commend Stephanie and Julius for their hospitality and for being nice to us during our stay - and to Jestoni as well who was "all smile" while cleaning the table near us. Great customer service is definitely an add-on for me to recommend a particular resto or cafe, and because Elements has great and well-mannered staff, I'm of course recommending them,
The Price
Php180.00 for a Merienda Buffet in an elegant hotel is definitely worth it and, just like what I always say, worth blogging for. You will definitely have a lot of options at Elements. Your Php180.00, like what I told a colleague of mine who is also planning to visit Elements, is "sulit na sulit."

Enjoying our second batch of "deleactables." In this photo: Amos, Yours Truly, Theresa, Wynn and Leah. Big thanks Stephanie for taking our photo. |

Once you've reached Botanical Garden, look for this building. You're definitely on the right track. |
