Solo Backpacking Ilocos Norte: Saud Beach in Pagudpud

Saud Beach in Pagudpud is probably the most popular beach destination in Ilocos NOrte. Dubbed as the "Boracay of the North," the beach has a long stretch of fine, powdery sands dotted with coconut trees which give the beach a tropical feel. Saud is nearer to Pagudupud town center compared to Blue Lagoon beach. It has a very scenic view and is often visited not just by local tourists but foreigners as well.

Saud Beach is where the action is as many of the newer and more posh accommodations are here. An hour or twoexperience at Saud Beach is something that I can treasure for a lifetime.

That's yours truly. Big thanks Lagalag Baguio for my outfit.
Saud beach is one of the best beaches to go for a summer vacation or travels when you aim to experience the best taste of rustic Philippine water. Saud caters a long white beach with no colored stains of garbage from end to end, green blooming coconut trees aligned the entire coast, local home cooked food that will let you taste the culture and the local’s way of living, lesser crowd and an affordable accommodation that offers nothing but a tranquil traveler experience.

Solo travelling? I find it exciting and "adventurous."
Unlike the more polished and crowded beach strip of Boracay, Ilocos Norte’s Pagudpud offers the more tranquil traveler a more rustic taste of Philippine waters. The northern-most stretch of Saud beach has sand as fine and white as those found in the beaches of Boracay.
